Hello , I’m Ridmini De Silva an ICT teacher turned entrepreneur on a mission to revolutionize education in Sri Lanka.

A short story about me , my mission, thinking and craft.

I am Ridmini De Silva, an ICT educator who embarked on an extraordinary journey in 2019, driven by a passion for transforming education.

In the face of the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic, I sought innovative ways to captivate the minds of young learners. This led me to create "hoodiya.lk," a YouTube channel where I utilized animated videos to make Maths and Sinhala lessons come alive for grade 1 and 2 students.

A twist of fate brought my work to the attention of Mr. Dhammika Perera, the visionary founder of "DP Education." In 2023, DP Education soared to unprecedented heights, becoming a beacon for education in Sri Lanka and earning recognition as the best in Asia. This serendipitous encounter became a turning point in my educational journey, as Mr. Dhammika Perera invited me to join the DP Education platform.

As an ICT teacher, I understand the transformative power of technology in education. Fueled by this realization, I founded the DP Coding School, a testament to my commitment to providing children with essential computer programming skills. Researching global best practices, I observed that thriving education systems often incorporate coding early on, inspiring my mission to contribute to the enhancement of Sri Lanka's educational landscape.

The DP Coding School, now spanning 80 centers and impacting 20,000 students, stands as a testament to the collective dream of a better education system in Sri Lanka. In parallel, my brother initiated Luxway Campus, offering foreign degree programs to Sri Lankans, further expanding our family's commitment to quality education.

Looking ahead, I am eager to deepen my understanding of the intersection between technology and education. Armed with this knowledge, my goal is to propel our family business to new heights and enhance the DP Coding School's impact. Choosing to study further in this field is not just a personal endeavor; it's a commitment to making a lasting difference.

I have witnessed firsthand how technology can revolutionize education, and I am driven to be a catalyst for positive change. Join me on this journey, as together, we contribute to making the Sri Lankan education system truly exceptional.
